ABOUT ME

My name is Leon Coupe and I am a full-time personal trainer.

 

I developed a passion for health, fitness, and exercise at a young age, beginning as an aspiring footballer. Later I explored other avenues of fitness and joined my first gym and began weight lifting. I also started my sports diploma with the aim of working in the fitness industry. I retained my love for playing football but gained an increasing focus on gym-based exercise.

 

In June 2011 I completed my diploma and decided to aim for my personal training qualification and start my own coaching business.

 

I completed my level 3 in personal training in May 2012, and I was fortunate to begin coaching in a brand-new gym in August, PureGym Northampton Central.  I have continued doing my one-to-one sessions there to the present day.

 

During this time I have worked with hundreds of clients, building up an impressive portfolio of success stories. Due to my increasing portfolio, I have extended my reach online, ensuring that my exercise and nutrition methods are available to benefit people globally.

 

My priority is to help my clients reach their fitness goals. I take an individual approach to each one of my clients and design their workout plans based on their own goals and lifestyle.

 

It is my mission as your trainer to give you my professional insight and knowledge, helping you to achieve your goals to get the most out of every workout.

I took up 8 weeks physique with Leon and results are amazing. Every session I felt my strength growing and saw my body shape changing. By far one of the most knowledgeable trainers I have worked with. He pushes you to be the best that you can during your 1:1 sessions and always is available for support via email or txt. He has helped me reach my goal's and has also educated me with macro counting, would highly recommend Leon for all your training and nutrition needs whether you are looking to lose weight or build muscle.

I started training with leon over a year ago. Through my first part of training I lost over 10 kgs within a few months. Leon is extremely knowledgeable and easy to get on with. He's always on hand for support and our sessions are always fun and varied. Best PT in Northampton!

Leon is an inspirational personal trainer who understands the trials and tribulations of getting back into, establishing and maintaining an exercise programme effectively. He will listen, encourage and praise you as he continually adapts routines, challenges your personal achievements and praises your successes - an approach that makes you feel as though you can push yourself. I highly recommend working with Leon. He recognised my personal goals and created a programme specifically tailored for for what I wanted and for my lifestyle (a full body workout twice a week). He is hugely knowledgable about how to be working in the gym safely and most beneficially, as well as discussing how you can adapt your diet to ensure you are reaching your potential. I would like to thank my personal trainer Mr Leon Coupe for everything he has helped me achieve. Knowing that I wanted to become a lot stronger physically and mentally, he has pushed me all the way through and still is. My bad habits are almost diminished, my strength has rocketed and my intelligence on macros and choice of nutrition has absolutely changed for the better. Leon is a calm, friendly and knowledgeable trainer who is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and become fitter and stronger. His gym sessions are fun and varied and push you far enough to keep improving but not so far that you can't walk for a week and your arms don't work anymore. I've definitely noticed a difference since starting training with Leon and he's always ready to share his extensive knowledge of nutrition, macros and the best way to manage your eating habits in a manageable and sustainable way, without hard-to-keep-up restrictions on food groups and impossible calorie restrictions. He'll teach you how to get fitter and stay fitter and to achieve the goals you want to achieve in a fun, friendly and supportive way. I'd definitely recommend training with Leon, he even managed to get me into the gym and enjoying, not something I ever thought I'd see!

If you're losing at losing weight and toning up, he is your man. No words can express my gratitude for this guy as all the tips and instructions he gave me the past 4 months have helped me knock down a crazy amount of weight transforming me into a brand new man! He is comunicative, always willing to help or answer any questions if confused, and very good at what he does. Was looking for a personal trainer that gave a personal service and tailor made plans based on my avaliable time to train. Leon keeps me motivated and assists in my macros to ensure consistent improvements. Already dropped 5kg in past 5 months while strength increasing week by week. No quick fixes but people like Leon show how to make sustainable lifestyle changes meaning I don't have to train 5 times a week to see good results. Highly recommended.

Leon is awesome! He’s always super friendly and encouraging and always pushing me to do better in our sessions. There’s a reason I went back to having session with him after three years at uni. He gets the results you want and he makes it enjoyable to do so.

Leon has trained me for several months now and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results I have seen and how he has trained me. I have always been intimidated by gyms but Leon has been patient and I felt relaxed with him from the first session. I’ve worked with Leon since Christmas and have enjoyed every minute of it. He’s knowledgable and empowers you to understand what to do when you train alone. Personal circumstances mean I can’t train with him anymore but if they should change I’ll be back in a flash. Overall an excellent trainer and the man makes a mean choc chip cookie!

Leon is incredible. He is great at meeting you where you are and in encouraging you to move beyond what you thought were your limits. The service that he provides goes beyond just lifting weights in the gym; he also provides tips on nutrition and is flexible with session times. Overall, Leon is a great trainer and I would recommend him to anyone who is serious about making a change in their lives and getting in shape.

Brilliant PT. Leon is very engaging, and encouraging. I'm currently doing strength training with him, and in 8 weeks, I've seen a major difference in my strength. Leon will encourage to do more if you can, and will never force you over your limit. Highly recommended.

I have known Leon since I moved to Northampton when I started university in 2014. Even now after I have graduated he has been a big help. Especially during times of illness and injury as he has not only allowed me to maintain a good level of fitness but also allow me to smash personal targets and keep on improving. Even when I had surgery he encouraged me to keep going and although weaker, over time I was able to get back my lost strength and improve way beyond what I thought I could do. He is a great personal trainer one I would highly reccommend to people living in the Northampton area.
